ILRUN, also known as interleukin-like RUN domain-containing protein, is a recently identified protein involved in immune regulation. Located in the cytoplasm, ILRUN features a RUN domain that enables protein-protein interactions. While its precise role is still under investigation, ILRUN is thought to influence immune responses, potentially impacting cytokine production, immune cell activation, and inflammatory processes. It has also been proposed as a possible biomarker for certain immune-related or inflammatory disorders.
